Rose Carvalho

The Brazilan mezzo-soprano, Rose Carvalho, He began her studies in classical singing under the guidance of Professor Gisa Volkmann. In 2005, he joined the Coral Porto Alegre, having the opportunity to attend concerts with the Orquestra de Câmara do Theatro São Pedro and the Orquestra de Câmara da Ulbra. Currently she studies lyric singing with Professor Carlos Rodriguez (baritone). Rose Carvalho has performed as soloist in Christmas Oratorio Op. 12 by Camille Saint-Saëns, with the Orquestra de Câmara da Fundação Cultural de Feliz under the baton of Louis Marcelo Illenseer; and also in the Mass in G Major K. 49 by W.A. Mozart, with Orquestra Fundarte under the baton of Delmar Dickel. In 2012 she was cast in the opera Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell, playing the role of the Witch in the assembly marked the beginning of the project called Opera in Ufrgs.
