Walter Fraccaro is a regular guest of the most prestigious Italian and international theatres. His vast repertoire includes between the greatest Verdian roles: Radames in Aida, Stiffelio, Foresto in Attila, Gabriele in Simon Boccanegra, Macduff in Macbeth, Alvaro in Forza del Destino, Don Carlo, Rodolfo in Luisa Miller, Manrico in Trovatore but also roles as Rodolfo in Bohème, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Faust in Mefistofele, Don Jose in Carmen, Enzo in Gioconda, Calaf in Turandot, Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut, Andrea Chenier, Dick Jonhson in Fanciulla del West, Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana. Walter Fraccaro made his professional debut in 1994 in Nabucco at the Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona. In the previous year he was winner of the second prize as best tenor and the Placido Domingo and Montserrat Caballé Award as the best Verdi interpreter at the Francisco Viñas Competition in Barcelona.
